Marble Lamp Illuminated with LEDs

The Office of architecture M.N Architecture, http://www.mnarquitectura.pt, designed and produced a translucent marble lamp for indoor and outdoor, and the result of a contact made at the Fair “Interdecoração 08”, made in Exponor, started the lighting design of these elements using LEDs. The result is a lamp with an attractive and innovative design, with the particularity of presenting different colors depending on the user's taste, being this selection made through a remote control, whose small size receiver is hidden inside the lamp. The system operates on 12V DC with a small switched transformer. This is just the first of many other projects of this kind. The lighting of other pieces of modern furniture created by MN Architecture is also being studied.
